This wine is marked by freshness, mineral depth and acidity, with aromas of red berry fruit followed by spicy and herbaceous notes on the palate. 

This wine comes from an ungrafted parcel of mixed-variety ancient vines situated on the north face of iconic Mt. Etna. The volcanic-soil vineyard is enclosed by old stone wall and named after the Strada Quota Nave that runs along here, a tiny dirt road that marks the spot.
