The nose is wonderful, clean and exciting, The aroma is mostly black fruit like fresh blackberries, and pepper, freshly ground pepper, from the syrah. There is barely any oak, just a really nice combo of fruit and spice. This wine is an interesting combo of grape, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Petit Verdot, grown on old terraces with top-soil of limestone rich in minerals.
